Consortium as a whole

The AIM² consortium consists of strong industrial partners, well established research centres and universities which have already proven their ability to cooperate within several projects in the past. After all, the structure of the AIM² consortium is defined by three research centres, three universities and four industrial partners, including one SME. This allocation promised to be well balanced and in accordance with the requirements of the project itself. The specific pre-defined structure of the AIM² project is based on several successive levels that are settlements within the field of research and industrial applications. Therefore, all partners have to convey the gained knowledge of every work package to the other participants. Due to the fact that most of the partners have already worked closely together within the AIM project, a well approved communication platform has been established over the past three to four years.

This small but prestigious group has the main advantage, that the partners are aware of the potential and capacity of the other project members. This ancillary condition already proved to be quite valuable in a way, that this close collaboration could overcome sudden difficulties that might occur during the implementation of these complex flight test measurement campaigns.
